Author Visit

Keheley Kids love to read, so we are gearing up for two author visits in March! For our primary students, author/illustrator Draya Sioux Woolf-Wilson will be visiting. Students have been reading two of her books, Brothers and Sisters and Windy the Windmill. They have lots of questions for this author, as well as some colorful coloring pages and book responses. This will be FUN!

Grades 3, 4 & 5 are getting ready to meet award-winning author Gail Karwoski. Ms. Karwoski has planned curriculum-related presentations for each grade level. Third grade is extending their knowledge of Georgia history, fourth grade will learn about a dog who traveled with Lewis & Clark, and 5th grade will focus on earthquakes and plate tectonics as they hear about the San Francisco earthquake of 1906. Ms. Karwoski has written historical fiction about all of these historical eras as well as other exciting books.
We're excited about meeting both of these authors! Happy Reading!
